Today a visit to this aviation museum in the middle of Brussels. Main reason for this visit was testing my new camera. A full frame system camera from Canon. Together with some new lenses. The test was very satisfactory.
This was the only positive thing concerning this visit. The collection in this museum is exquisite. 95 percent of the exhibits are Belgium made, or served in the Belgian Armed Forces. Stretching from WWI to present. Sadly the way the aircraft are displayed makes photography very challenging. On top of this the collection is very dirty and not taken care off as they should be. So all in all the potential of a great museum, but in practice a rather mediocre experience. But ideal for testing a new camera or spending a relaxed Sunday morning.
