First museum on my museumtrip. This is my second visit since my first visit in 2006. A lot has happened since then. With financial support from the EU a completely new hangar was build.
More artifacts and airplanes are on display. A lot of full scale replicas incorporating original parts from the depicted aircraft. Most of the items on display have a link with the Luftwaffe test center which was housed on this grass field. Very nice to see the real scale of these aircraft. Some Russian types are also on display. But to my opinion they don't belong here. They flew from the Rechlin-Lärz airfield which is a couple of kilometers more South of Rechlin.
A well organized and clean museum. Really recommend this one whole heartedly.
