The Belgian Air Force has 2 specially painted "D-Day" F-16's flying, to commemorate the anniversary off 75 years since D-day. One at Florennes and one at KB. High time for me to try and catch one in front of my camera. So a day of Kleine Brogel spotting was planned. The sun was out and it promised to be a perfect spotting day.
In the morning 7 flights took off but no special paint. Some time later my luck changed a separate three ship flight took off just before noon. Including FA-124 the D-day F-16.
45 minutes later the aircraft came in for landing, performing some touch and go's. Ideal to take some pictures. A very productive day.
May next target is the D-day bird at Florennes in the near future.
